The
A77 main trunk road from Stranraer to
Glasgow passes through the district allowing
direct access to our main towns of Ayr,
Girvan, Maybole, Prestwick and Troon.
From England, the town of Ayr is signposted
off the A74. From Ayr, drive south on
the A719 to Maidens and Turnberry.
by rail
A
good half hourly rail service operates
from Edinburgh to Glasgow. The recently
electrified line from Glasgow to Ayr has
cut journey times to 50 minutes. A local
bus or taxi service located near the station
in Ayr, will be able to take you to Malin
Court. From Girvan station there are regular
services to Glasgow where connecting services
will take you all over Scotland.

Glasgow
Prestwick International Airport is a 30
minute drive away, with flights connecting
to London Gatwick, Dublin, Belfast and
the Continent.
